If you rise to pray without confidence, you are already defeated before you start. It remains an absolute truth that a man who doubts cannot receive anything from God.
Prayer without confidence is powerless; it produces words, not results. When you go before God with timidity, hesitation or uncertainty, heaven does not move. God is not flattered by your long hours; He is moved by your confident faith.
