James 1:6-7; Hebrews 10:23
One of the greatest enemies of answered prayer is wavering. James warns, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”
Wavering means to stagger between two opinions: believing God one moment and doubting Him the next. It is like trying to plant a seed while constantly digging it up to see if it is growing.
You must understand that no prayer prevails when your heart is unsteady.
